Richard Spitaletta
ACTOR. WRITER. SINGER.

Welcome, hi! If you're new here, it's nice to meet you. If you're one of my friends or family looking at my website at 2 am, this is uncomfortable, why are you doing that?
My name is Richard and I'm a Brooklyn based, LGBGTQ+ actor, writer, singer and owner of a beautiful cat named Michelle Pfeiffer.
I recently starred in the national tour of Something Rotten as Nigel Bottom and just graduated from the Brooklyn College MFA Acting program! I also signed with Bret Adams Ltd. for legit representation following my graduate showcase. Check out my profile on their website here, and my graduate showcase here.
This past year, I originated the leading role in a queer musical rom-com in development, and my solo show "A Bunch of Taylor Swift Songs For No Reason," went up to a sold out audience at Rockwood Music Hall.
I'm also a writer! My comedy short "What You Do Best" was selected as a finalist at comedy film festivals in Austin and Portland; you can watch it here, and I'm currently developing a comedic play titled Board of Ed about the wonderful world of small town politics! Ask me about it.
Check out my shoutout from the New York Times!
"The performers...are fine singers and fizzy delights, with Mr. Spitaletta and Ms. Weinberger emerging as particularly skillful impersonators." - Alexis, Soloski, The New York Times: read the full review here.
