I write heartfelt comedic plays and films that examine life in the 2020s. Many of my characters struggle with their place in the world and their expectations of life vs. their sobering reality. I like adapting traditional "heroes' journeys" and coming-of-age stories to characters who have progressed further into adulthood.

My short film, Dropped, goes into production and shoots May 17th-19th. Dropped follows Andrew Wallace, a struggling actor who gets dropped by his agent in the middle of teaching a master class at his old Catholic Middle School. Faced with this devastating career setback, his failing friendship with Laura, the middle school drama teacher and his former best friend, and a formidable opponent in Bridgit, a 12 year old girl who just booked Law and Order, Andrew must face his fears of failure and rediscover his humility. Theater Camp meets Lady Bird! Currently finishing post-production, stay tuned for more!

Meet Connor (Ex-actor) and Dana (ex-political assistant), two depressed millennials working at a slightly elevated steakhouse in Woodmont, New Jersey. Their lives couldn't be sadder. Now meet Claudia Roberts, reigning town councilwoman, "it girl" of Bergen County, and secret sociopath. Her life couldn't be sweeter. When she comes into the restaurant for dinner, Connor is excited to meet his small town hero. But after a dicy encounter over some grilled walnuts, a horseradish milkshake, and a woman Claudia has apparently kidnapped, he quickly learns she is a real-life demon. Dana, Claudia's former assistant (fired for being too old: turning 29), seizes this opportunity for revenge on her former boss and gets Connor to run against her for board of ed. With just two weeks until election day, this unlikely duo attempts to defeat the one and only Claudia Roberts while reckoning with everything they have lost and the emptiness of life in the 2020s.
